The Meadowdale Players blog
The Meadowdale Players is the drama club of Meadowdale High School in Lynnwood, Washington. Led by drama instructor Christopher Hamilton , this group includes students from all grades who come together to produce plays, musicals, and original student‐written shows. Everyone’s welcome—whether you’re into acting, stage design, tech, or community outreach. The club meets after school (in their Blackbox theater) and is student-run in many aspects, with an executive team helping plan and run the program.

ABOUT
Who are the Meadowdale Players?
Meadowdale Players is the drama club of Meadowdale High School, located in Lynnwood, Washington. We are a passionate community of students who come together to create, explore, and celebrate the magic of theater. Led by our dedicated drama teacher, Christopher Hamilton, we welcome anyone and everyone—whether you’re interested in acting, tech, design, directing, or just want to try something new.
We meet every Monday after school from 2:00–3:00 PM in the Blackbox Theatre, and there’s always a place for new faces to join the fun. Our program produces a variety of theatrical works throughout the year, from classic plays and musicals to modern pieces and original student projects. We believe theater is for everyone, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive space where students can learn, grow, and express themselves on and off the stage. Meadowdale Players isn’t just a club—it’s a creative family built on collaboration, storytelling, and a shared love of the performing arts.
In 2025, we proudly brought our fall play Eurydice to the International Thespian Festival (ITF), where we had the opportunity to perform, learn from theater professionals, and connect with other passionate artists from around the country. This milestone reflects the dedication, talent, and creativity of our members, and we’re excited to continue growing our program and reaching new heights.
Meadowdale Players is student-driven and led by our Executive Team, a group of five student leaders who help guide our productions, plan events, and ensure our program thrives. Together with our members, they work hard to make every season a success and keep the spirit of theater alive at Meadowdale High School.
